At Community Table (the new name of the Arvada Community Food Bank) putting food on the table is only the beginning. For those who desire it, Community Table offers basic resources to serve immediate needs as well as life skills programs to strengthen families. Community Table helps them take the critical steps on a path to reliance on their own efforts and abilities.
Hunger relief services include the Client Choice Food Pantry, Feeding the Future Program targeted toward school-age children, Mobile Food Pantry, The Emergency Food Assistance Program, and Commodities for Seniors.
Through the Bridges to Opportunity Program services and assistance are provided that can result in life-changing improvements and help to educate clients on the rich community resources available to assist families and individuals and encourage self-help and self-advocacy.
